Training for the future isn't an easy task and it isn't something that gets better practicing twice a week. It's all going to depend on how important your future is to you and your parents because in this program your future means everything to us.
The lxa black sox whittier travel ball program is a skills development and team training program for the youth travel ball athlete and the high school college-bound athlete. Hosting athletes ranging from 11-18 years old. The primary objectives of the coaching staff is to better prepare you for the next level, improve the quality of your skills and make you mentally tougher.
You're going to be lead by a staff of professionals who have competed in college, had the opportunity to go pro and understand the little things that matter the most. You will be coached by a staff of experts lead by sports mental certifications and accredited education with backgrounds ranging from biomechanics, strength-n-conditioning to masteries in pitching, hitting, catching and more.
If you're looking for a professional training program then this is the program for you. If you're a high school athlete then you won't have to worry about downtime during the high school season because you'll still be receiving instruction. This is the most crucial time for you as a high school athlete because you may not receive enough instruction in order to continue developing.
If you're not in high school then you'll be training and competing within travel ball tournaments and/or the travel ball season regularly as well as during the high school season.

Our travel ball team has two mandatory practices per week with an additional four optional practices for further skills development.
Our whittier teams carry athletes ranging from 11-18 years old.
Our athletes compete in at the least 1-2 tournaments per month with more during the summer.
USSSA, Xtreme Diamond, Triple Crown, Rawlings, Premier and more.
No, not every athlete makes our teams.
Our travel ball athletes come from various places besides Whittier. West Covina, LA, Downey, Corona, Long Beach, La Mirada, Bellflower, La Habra and more.
At the moment none of our coaches have any kids playing within our teams. However, all coaches are required to go through a mandatory curriculum.
Tution dues cover league season game entry fees and instruction. Uniforms, tournaments, etc. are additional when needed.
Tuition fees are based upon certain criteria that is determined after the evaluation.
Our professional travel ball team partners include Mizuno USA, Jaegar Sports, and the NCSA to name a few.

Communications with us is pretty simple. You have three options to chose from. Please also understand that all prospective athletes must go through an evaluation in order to be considered into our travel ball training program.
