WHITTIER BASEBALL TEAM GOES TO HAWAII
On June 25th, SoCal Black Sox, a Whittier Baseball Organization embarks on a great challenge, to bring Whittier Baseball to Hawaii. Nations Baseball, a Travel Baseball Organization, will host an opportunity of a lifetime within the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Allowing the kids to enjoy the great cultures and landmarks of the island.
These LA County Kids, the main veteran core, all started at Whittier Pony Baseball with the opportunity to play the game of baseball within the City of Whittier. These weren't the typical all-star athletes that stood out due to their tremendous talent. At least, that is how they started.
With the tremendous heart the kids have given to the discipline for the game, the passion to succeed, and the intentions to be perfect, they have grown rapidly under the Leadership of Their Coaches, parents, and one another making themselves stand out more then your typical all-stars. Whittier Baseball/Softball Organization Carries a Different Thought Process
Through a Positive Mindset, Inspirational Awareness and other Various Forms of Guidance, the Coaches are open-minded, aggressive, and consistant with all athletes so that they are reminded at all times that they are great and that they can accomplish anything they wish so long as they go through the actions required.
Resources like the SPIT Athletics YouTube Inspirational Playlist, assist with the Mental Preparation for the athletes, providing support, positivity and inspiration.

Practice is Vital to any athlete's progress, games help with their Mental Development and Intense Sacrifices are expected to reach their goals. We teach, coach and guide with great discipline, unique abilities and intense aggression.
All to have our athletes understand what True Teamwork is (it's just not taught much anymore).

When they give 100%, All Athletes Deserve More. They've earned it and it's our job as Coaches is to make them into Ball Players. Whittier Baseball & Softball Clubs will change when we do things better.

Tryout Recruiting Process
The process is Simple for New Recruits. Read and understand the little bit below and fill out the 2010 Tryout Registration Form. We will only consider you, when you fill out the registration form.
- You Better Be 100% Serious.
- Make sure you're a 1-Team Player, we want true commitment.
- Be ready for tough workouts, we don't have time to mess around.
- Sacrifice. Would you sit for the team when needed or complain and cause havoc?
- Understand that "Perfect Practice Makes Perfect", or did you think that playing games mostly improves your abilities?
- It's the "Coaches Way or the Highway", that's why we're the Coaches and you're not.
- Understand that this is a place to grow up mentally, where boys become strong men and girls become powerful women.
- Be honest when you register, it means everything.
